You make a post, and you have to wait 120 seconds before you can make another post. Sounds reasonable to prevent spam, right? Ideally, yes, except this forum enforces that rule very, very stupidly.

If someone is going to make multiple posts on the forum, then they're going to write one post, post it, write a second post, post it, and so forth. So so after you've just posted, you should be able to start a new post, write it up, and then post it. THAT is where the spam filter should kick in. If you haven't spent a good 120 seconds writing your second post and/or reading posts in between, then it shouldn't let you post your post yet. You should have to keep writing.

Basically, you should be able to spend 120 seconds writing up your next post, not sitting on your but waiting for the moronic spam filter to time down before you can even start with your next post.

Stupid forums...

That's the only pot-shot I got at ORP. I post way faster than every 120 seconds when I'm in a good mood.
