Project64 loads 'em just fine. And it's just an all around awesome emulator.

Oddly enough, that is exactly why I haven't been doing much for Re-Volt as of late. I have a Scion xB/Toyota bB conversion halfway done, but I don't have the motivation to finish it. I've been messing around with emulation and other kinds of tinkerings.

That car will be out at least this month, though.

yes
thank you
i also downloaded project 64
but......
i was trying to ask if i can open the .z64 file as if it were a .zip
and then i was wanting to add custom cars and tracks and then make it back into .z64 format so i can then play it with the n64 emulator

It's pretty much like a .bin file for a Genesis game. There is no way of currently extracting it, that I know of.

You asking me if I need a BIOS? No.

Are you asking if you need a BIOS for Genesis for most Genesis emulators? No.

Genesis emulators use something called HLE or high-level emulation, which automatically removes the dependences to the BIOS, the "Basic Input-Output System", for all intents and purposes, the operating system of the video game console in question.
