I have an idea to create Extreme tracks on a website. You type in everything, and it outputs your .ase file. I have the system all planned out. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks,
Zach

I just reformatted my harddrives, so I will begin re-creating the entire website soon, I just want to know if anyone would be interested in this idea.

If you guys are interested, I have a prototype of the PRM/W Generator I wish to create. This is a very labor-intensive version, very few tools to aid in the creation of it. If you want to check it out and tell me if you support the project, please visit the temporary site, --removed link-- Thanks,
Zach

Well, with lack of support, I eventually let the project die, but alas, I have a new idea. The following image is a screenshot of my new track-making online tool. Simple to use and easy to understand, this tool makes short work of custom tracks. At the moment, only Formula 1 tracks can be created. The tool isn't complete yet, just enough for this shot. Please let me know what you think. Thanks,
Zach

What can it do that the track editor can't?

Custom track kits/pieces...

That's really cool zach. I have a couple questions will it be able to do more than 90 degree turns (like say 30,45 or 60 degree)? And will it allow track rise and fall?

As I said, any custom track pieces, so I'm sure 45 would probably work(2 x 2 square piece). And yes, it would allow rise and fall, but so far, only two pieces stacked(bridge/tunnel).

How exactly would custom track pieces work?

I can see it being somewhat useful if it would allow you to connect, for example, the TrackMK pieces together. It does get a bit tedious aligning everything manually in the MAKEITGOOD editor.

Select a pre-designed kit and it opens the online "track editor". It aligns every piece to the grid.

Zach,

If this will handle PrmBend or TrkMk., then I think it's brilliant; if it will eventually also handle JimK's track kits, then it is Mega-brilliant.

I am really looking forward to see how it develops, and to using it :)

So what your saying is, this GEN can make xtreme tracks, like the track editor but makes xtremes instead?

Pretty much.
