And I'm releasing the car matte. It doesn't look that bad.

Gimme a second. It looks horrible in menu, not that bad when driving.

EDIT: Picture removed by me.

I need to V2 this car, if I can just fix the damn shininess!

why isn't it on your site?

btw you can fix up revolt_king's koenigsegg too

I'm still working on it.
Gotta get the params the way I want 'em.
This isn't a fix up of revolt_king's Gallardo either.
This was converted by me, it is a model by a different author.

I might fix up or convert a Koenigsegg though.
But the car above is MY conversion, not revolt_king's.

I used one of your cars on Museum 4= 20 fps
I used one of my cars on Museum 4= 19 fps

...Not much difference huh.
Their was like a 8000 poly difference between these cars!

The real point is that Museum 4 is too gfx intensive.

And jeez man, it's not like if you touch a highpoly car, you'll turn to stone!
ONE car doesn't make a difference. Having ONE 8000 poly car in the game probably won't effect much. Having TWELVE 8000 poly cars in the game makes it lag quite a lot.

Besides which, high-poly cars don't allow for good repaints. You can only really change the color. That's no fun.

You must not have too many cars if twelve of the highpoly ones pop up at once.

Anyway, I'm getting sick of converting highpoly cars.
SOO MANY GLITCHES!
I'm working on a Ford Focus by Ryuji Kainoh, and a Cizeta Moroder V16T by Ryuji Kainoh.
Neither I don't think are very highpoly, but I don't know what Ryuji cars you want converted!

Let's pull out the calculator: 8000x12=96000 polies...!
I see your point, a level is only 16000 polies (about)

And my car is now on RVZT.

I never have high-poly cars pop up at all because I don't have any. And I like to keep it that way.

However, there is a mode of play that selects a random car and makes all 12 cars the same car. If that car happens to be high poly, ouch.

Ouch, you're right.
I never played that mode lol.
Have any Ryuji requests?

Dang!
Oddly enough, I'm working on the Focus R Concept! It looks ugly for some reason, but I'm almost done with that!

I'll do the Mercury Cougar, Toyota Corolla, IS200, Mustang 35th, Silvia, and maybe the Type-R.

This will be a month or two of work.
Maybe not.

6 cars I am almost sure I'm doing out of your selection.

Re-Volt engine makes no sense sometimes.
I exported the prm to a 3ds file, opened it in 3ds Max 8, and saved, then imported it into ZMod, and then went through all the steps.

Now the car is matte on the outside and shiny on the inside!

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Somebody needs to make a PRM finish program that makes sure it is COMPLETELY compatible with Re-Volt.

Posted: 24 Sep 2007, 21:35
Aeon
I don't know why you're taking it out of zmodeler1 at all. I just load the extracted FCE file into zmodeler and work on it from there all the way to PRM state. Working on it from other editors tends to cause problems.

I'm doing random things for no reason.

I don't normally take it out of ZModeler.

But I've fixed problems in weird ways.

It sucks by Ryuji Standards!

I'll do one of the cars on your list 'sides that.

I did all this stupid stuff because I did it the NORMAL fce to prm way and it shined incorrectly (most cars don't do this). Actually when I export to different formats, it sometimes fixes it.

OH, and a question. Could presaving it as a Z3D screw up the model for Re-Volt?
I do this so it don't crash so F$#$ING much.

I have to take a picture of this!

- Acura RSX
- Nissan 240sx
- Chevrolet Cavalier

I'll do at least one of them.
Didn't TM&M do Ryuji's 240sx?

re_volt
I dont think there are many Volvos or Saabs in driving games to convert.
I think many guys havent never been heard from these cars.
Only i know where is Saab is Rally Trophy (You know Bugbear Entertainment who done Flatout? This game is done by Bugbear). It,s finnish game and there were driving old rally :D But i dont think anyone likes old rally cars.

I'll do the Cavalier!
Which model do you want, his tuned-looking one, or the stock one?

Posted: 03 Oct 2007, 03:52

I hate tuned "looking" cars. At least when I didn't make them that way myself. I always want stock cars to begin with.

Posted: 03 Oct 2007, 06:54

I might export both.
Expect it done in a week. I'm slowing my love for Re-Volt down. I shouldn't release 5 conversions in 2 days.

As you can see, I re-did the textures on this one, so it is more like a "Conversion/Repaint" in a sense. Look at my new textures, and look at "Original Texture!.bmp" and see how much work I put into getting this car to look right, and drive decently.

I also shadowed the area under the wing to give a sense of shading!
The original textures were horrible, and lacked depth, and a trunk!
I textured a trunk in so it don't look so bland from the rear.

Parameters are what is to be expected from me.

Looks good from here, but I don't have 7z format compatible stuff, so I won't be downloading it until it hits RZVT. I look forward to tweaking it, since I've already scrounged around the internet for all the Cavalier stats.

I'm also eager to have that RSX and the Silvia if you feel like converting them. If not, I'm busy re-working my existing cars right now but I'll probably get around to converting them myself eventually.
