Since the races that are scheduled by urv are always played sharp in time just like written on his page and also very well visited even during the week,(full rooms) i think RV house deserves one more important link.
It would be good if you could make space in house for a link called "Scheduled races" that would be visible somewhere when entering.Thathow noobs and people that enter in a weird period of time,they would new when to join and not think its empty.
We are also using custom tracks and custom cars more then ever,and a link to a huge track pack and cars pack would be great also to keep thinkgs very simple to play for newcomers.
Anybody likes ? :thumbs-up:

are those sites even compliant with the ip checking standard api?

faster != stable
There's a standard API for this.
if some services are faster for different users then let's introduce robustness by introducing autodetection and multiple entries

Enable DirectPlay feature under legacy in optionalfeatures.exe or win+x or right click start -> program and features -> add or remove windows components or similar in the left side of the window that opens
if win10 removed directplay support in latest update we're screwed until directplay functionality is removed from RVH which will make 1.2 and older unusable

Hello,

Does anybody have a RV House build for 64bit linux laying around?



32bit libACE is nowhere (AUR or google) to be found.

If it's opensource I wouldn't mind building it.

RV House comes with libACE-6.3.3.so in the lib folder.
Linking it to /usr/lib32/ should do the job.

The most recent version of RVHouse can be found on the rv12. Huki worked on it to make it compatible with RVGL. You can find the source here.

I contacted arto, central server should be working again.

RV House is updated, after quite a while, to 0.94.4.
It's now compatible with recently added RVGL features, and brings some long standing requests.

Download:
RV House for Windows
RV House for Linux

Changelog:
  • IP detection for P2P now uses revoltzone.net server.
  • Up to 24 players for RVGL version rooms.
  • RVGL is the default version for new rooms.
  • New Browse button in RVGL settings dialog.
  • Show timestamp along with chat messages.
  • Updated the links under Downloads and Help menus.
  • Disabled "Re-Volt not detected" registry warning on Windows.
  • Better reconnection attempts on central server timeout.
  • Fix: handle trailing slash in the RVGL launch path.
