Hi.
I discovered a big conflict between my audio card and revolt.exe!
Leaving audio active, rv freezes very often by random!
Giving -nosound to revolt.exe i can play without any error!?!?!

So, how to give -nosound inside RVh to launch RV?

arto
I'm not sure if passing of parameters is possible if RV is launched in lobby mode. It is something that I will investigate when I have time.

Meanwhile you could try turning the music & sfx volume all the way down to 0 in RV if it would have the same effect.

no way!

obviously there's not the same impact in the software, since drivers are still used and conflict comes up regulary...

i did many tests, and only turning OFF the sound with -nosound i can play without random freeze!

seems this problem is not so sporadic! many integrated audio cards and their drivers give instability to the old and buggy revolt.exe!?!?

if u can do something in later releases of RVh i'll be very grate...

thanx arto...

ps. i also studied the lobby system of dx (dp) drivers... i really thought it was much easier to start a dp game without being a programmer... no way!
