I find that the best way is a fresh full install of the whole game, then extract and install patch 0916, then extract and install patch 1207.
Just ensure all shortcuts are pointing to the correct files. ;)

You must install the Double-Size Editor patch first and then install the no-cd patch.

I have the same problem. I have a CD, I installed the thing, applied both patches. But after a couple of races, the game crashes at loading screen! So I decided to download Re-Volt(from the link in rvhouse), installed the game, both patches etc. but it crashes agian! Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Do not install both patches. If you have the CD the 0916 patch is best.
If you do not have the CD use the 1207 patch. If you installed both
patches over your Revolt, it might be best to uninstall and reinstall
Revolt, and use only 1 of the patches.

You didn't go to my site? :(
Oh, and I use both patches and I have no problems.
Why would I tell you to download them both if I knew it wasn't good? <_<

I believe it's best to install both patches, the 0916 first then the 1207.
If you Revolt is crashing, then check that the patches have been extracted properly into the correct folders, ensure you have uptodate graphics drivers and directX, make sure there is no problems with the cars or levels (tracks) folders and also check that you are running the game in the correct window for your OS.

Things are working well after reinstalling. I think the problem was in the cars folder, I might have installed some of the custom cars wrong.
