Skymaps are objects inserted in Objects edit mode. Enter Objects
mode and cycle to Skymap object and use Arrows keys
to select level type. Toytanic Day and Toytanic Night are the
best ones. You must increase FOGCLIP and FOGSTART in the .inf
file so the skymap does not appear in front of parts of the track.
Also copy the FOGCOLOR of these tracks into the .inf file of your
track.

Also, you do NOT have to copy the skymap .BMPs into the
folder of your track, Revolt will find them correctly.

The Sky maps are basic bitmap images found in certain stock tracks.
As stated, to implement these into your tracks, you need to place the object Skymap and select which stock track to use.

Of corse, if you edit the Skymap bitmaps, then any track that uses that Skymap will show your edited bitmaps.
