Guys,

i know you are all into re-volt and you know alot about it so, is their any way i can make my FPS alot better because when i lag it is like 1-25 and when i dont lag (well i still lag a bit) it is like 65-99. I have been onto the RV-League website just looking around and on some screen shots people have FPS of 265!!!!!!

Also, is there any way to get rid of annoying BUGATUX without going into the BIOS or something!?

Hope you lot can help me

Hey J0nN0, welcome ;)
Well, to fix the FPS i recommend to slow the gfx settings, like 800x600. I have 800x600 in a 19'' screen, and works fine.
About the bugatux, can be by internet problems, procesator (in)compatibility or something like. All I can say ;)

See ya!

So all i need to do is go into options and change the screen resolution to 800x600x32 or x16 and then see if that works?

thanks for your help ADX

You can also try to turn on the V-Sync to see if it change something.

Hi JOnNO,

One thing you can try if you havnt already is the compatabillity if you are on windows XP.

Find revolt.exe (C:\Program Files\Acclaim Entertainment\Re-Volt) by default

Then right click on revolt.exe, select properties and then the compatability tab

The campatability mode needs to be win98/win me

see if that helps.

For the bugatux your processor have to run under 2.1GHz. If you have dual core or hyper threading, or something like this, you processor run at 4GHZ if you have a 2GHZ for revolt for exemple. Maybe with a new patch if we all work on the source to compile them ;)

Eh it's not a microsoft bug but an Acclaim bug ;) they don't use the integrality of a 64 bits variable (the proc core speed), only 32 bits. But in 32 bits you can't set numbers greater than 2,100,000,000 so 2.1GHz is the limit for the moment B)
