I found a pair of games whose models are in .LWO format. However, neither Zmodeler's (1.07) or Blender's (2.7) import filters/plugins will get the UV mapping from the model file (they're clearly mapped in-game). Any way to import somewhere as .lwo then export as .obj or 3ds., or perhaps an idea on this format?

Hi Cat you could try Wings 3d it loads lightwave files .
check it out at the link below.
Also it exports 3ds and obj files

When importing, it tells me that files from LightWave 5.5 aren't supported, which gives me a better hint at what to look for. Thanks anyways!

Hi Cat
If you want you can send the lwo files to me.
I will try to open them in my lightwave 11.
Then send tthem back to you as obj and 3ds format if i can.
