Hi, I believe this was a well known bug already since I recall reading somewhere about it but I don't know if it was ever fixed and then reappeared again or just missed out (I'm using latest official alpha).
Anyway, just wanted to report that the game crashes when you are in Instance edit mode and try to insert an instance in a track without having any .prm files in the track directory.
Its not something that bugs me (especially since I'm not a track creator) but I just stumbled upon it so I thought it would be worth mentioning.
