@MM
It it still the case? I'm currently trying some javascript on the forum (not very safe but easier than creating another forum just for that), so there could be glitches for a while...

Works fine for me.. maybe the old javascript is cached by your browser. Try using F5 to reload the forum.

I didn't know it still doesn't work for you MM...

Weirdly, it seem to be the buttons calling javascript prompt().
Do you see a prompt box after clicking a button, or just nothing happens?
Does the added Youtube button work?

And most important point, what is your browser?

I use IE8, I don't like any others.

Yes there are prompt boxes;
http:// - gives me "Error! You must enter a URL You must enter a title"
IMG - gives me "Error! You must enter a URL"
@ - gives me "You must enter an email address"

Just to clarify, I am entering what is requested and it use to work before my 4 year break.

I have temporarily removed the javascript hack. Can you please test (quickly ;) ) and report if it changes anything?

Re-enabled since you left the forum...

Edit:
Can you confirm that using the "Try it now" button on this page:
http://www.javascripter.net/faq/prompt.htm
you properly get the "Hello name!" message?

I also found this page about a security setting in IE8 (look at the screenshot in the 2nd answer) but I don't think it really matches your case.

Yes, that worked.
I can access all buttons now.
Thanks. :D

Out of curiosity, what worked? The IE security tip on stackoverflow?

(I've also modified a minor stuff in the code but I don't think that made any change).

Yes, the IE8 stack overflow issue.
Again, thank you.
