re-volution
Hi all,

I'm new here and starting with a problem:
I am playing re-volt since years with different pads and no problems.
Recently I'm using a playstation2 pad via a speedlink-usb-adapter on my pc.
Basically I can start the game and a race or whatever but with the first force-feedback effect the game crashes to desktop.
Unfortunately I am not able to switch off the FF effects or something like that - neither in game nor in windows system control panel.

Could anyone please help me ?

My Config:
Athlon 1800
256 mb RAM
WinME
ATI Radeon 9600

Hi there and welcome.

I had just the same kind of problem, but with Gravis gamepad. There was no solution but to turn the force feedback off. It had to be done by modifying registry directly. Maybe a similar way to do it for your gamepad exists?

You can of course try upgrading your re-volt version if that helps, but it's unlikely.

Thanks arto,

I've started another try in the controller setup under windows:
There is a tab "effects page" where you can drag the so called "rumble intensity" to a min value and then - and thats what i haven't seen first - have to push an apply-button. So I have turned of FF and re-volt doesn't crash anymore.
