Hey.

I’ve been thinking™. All leaning bikes that are made for Re-Volt, they all handle jumps like perfect motocross superstars, i.e. they don’t tumble at all in air. That has irked me for a long time, ever since I discovered that ResMod value 1.0 in parameters.txt makes usual cars tumble realistically. I wanted to make bikes behave the same way, so that they actually crash-land when jumping badly.

And you know, it _is_ possible. Just make ResMod value 0.0 and voila – you can totally un-gracefully flop a jump and land sideways or on your head :D Try this with UrbanRocker’s bike on e.g. Super Nova track.

Only, don’t try this with my crazy 1-wheeled balancing vehicles, they don’t like head-banging (something about their suspension is too special, major glitches happen on impact with anything else than the tyre)... You’ve been warned :)

But the actual question:
What should I do with this new-found knowledge? Should I go and post it in comments of all bikes at RVZT (too much like spamming), should I state it in RVZT news (not many silent downloaders read it, I guess), or is it enough to just state it here?

I want to give people the choice between perfect biking and realistic, i.e. crashable biking, but how do I let them know? Any ideas are welcome.

wow! that was real great
But even if the bike fall head down it automatically turns around and continues. Is there a way to fix that

No, sadly. Automatic standing up is why it leans and doesn't fall over when racing.
