I know some of you remember Shawn64, perhaps you even knew him personally.

I'm sure everyone knows his tracks:

http://revolt.speedweek.net/main/search ... xt=shawn64

He had been retired from Revolt for some time and had been developing his own games, which had become quite popular. He used to host his Revolt stuff on his website ( http://www.shawn64.com ) but removed it some time within the last year.

I have just learned that he has died.

"Shawn P. Noel, 17 years old, Lincoln, died Wednesday 18th January 2006"

I found out about this at the following memorial link, at a freeware gaming forum:

http://www.caimen.be/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1091

The newspaper containing the notice has a guestbook where you can leave comments for the family.

Two links to the same guestbook:

http://www.legacy.com/journalstar/DeathNotices.asp (search the last name: Noel)

Such a loss. I wish all the best to his loved ones.

To all, treasure those God has given you.

It's a sad time to lose someone so young. -_-
I'm sure he will be remembered here for a long time yet.

R.I.P. Shawn, hope you find wherever you are now what you couldn't find here.

That's awful to hear. RIP Shawn64... he was funny and creative guy.

Also I'm sure some people here remember Tony Fazzone who used to have Re-Volt Headquarters site... he's been diagnosed with a life threatening disease some time back: http://fazzone.com/

Whenever people didn't care about their Re-Volt sites, I used to say they were dead. I guess I shouldn't say that anymore, since someone is actually dead... I never knew anything about him, but it is sad to hear that he has passed away. I wish him good luck wherever he is.

Things like this shouldn't happen, and I hope this is the only documented death in the RV community. Hmm, kiddies, don't let depression get to you, that's all I have to say about that.

And, I hope you are in a good place... somewhere.

Also, Death is around us all the time. One of my dad's friends has a grandson that just had a brain aneurysm... He's totally brain dead now, they are going to pull the plug on him today.
