after modifting the uv with lithunwrap the normals have went extremely wierd, as in each poly reflects a random bit of the env.bmp? anyone know how to stop this?

Did you create a matching .bmq file to go with the .bmp?

I have never heard of the program you are refering to, but maybe it helps if you flip the normals?

Yeah you're welcome.
I know exactly what you are referring to, I'd simply call it the lack of normals for lack of better terminology.

If anyone was curious he simply means that each face on the model has it's own shine so it doesn't have any smoothness at all. Yeah using an NFS tool to fix it is a bit going to the side, but hey to make the best works you kinda have to stray from the norm.
