With NFSWizard i took out the .tga and the .FCE file, with PSP i saved the .tga file into a bitmap.
I import the .FCE file with ZModeler 1.06f and says:Invalid file...

What could it be?

NFS3. ;)

Besides that,i successfully converted a Lada 2106,but...

Where the car should be,it's meters behind...
And the wheels are in the air meters away from all 3 Axises spinning around something invisible.

Help...? :(

ZModeler 1.07b loads only NFS4 FCE files.
Use this tool to convert the formats.

NFS 3/4 FCE Converter by Rocket/Addict

When you get the car fully converted (prms and textures) you might end up realizing the texture's all messed.

You might have to vertically flip the texture.

I have no problems with shading.
The meshes arent where they are supposed to be!

Code: Select all

            I                          I

        I                                   I

                      :X:

                       B
I:Real places of the wheels
B:Real place of the body
:X: :Where the body and the wheels SHOULD be.

Is it clear now?

Make sure that all of your models are centered on the axis. I"m pretty sure there's a tool around for it.

RVCenter?
I'll try that.
Thanks for teh hint Zach! :D

lol yeah if you didnt center it you have a big problem.
open a cmd, type rvcenter <PRM NAME GOES HERE>.prm... thats it. prm must be in same folder as rvcenter and i think you need that weird named dll file too... then just move your wheels and raise your body in the parameters.

RVCenter isn't always perfect because sometimes if the model's axis is off RVCenter will center it by the incorrect axis, haha. That's only if the model's axis is messed.

There's a center axis command in ZModeler you can apply to models. If the model is symmetrical, if the axis is perfectly in the center, and the model has been RVCentered after that... why then it's as perfect as perfect can be. =)
