I was wondering if theres a way to stop this... when i play revolt in 1024x768 the next time i come on its in 768x512 or something near and it is sideways, and if i play in 800x600 the next time i go on revolt its in 512x384 (not sure on exact res but u get my point) i was wondering if u can make it stay in 1024x768 whenever i go on to stop having to change it everytime i load revolt...thanks in advance

Look over here: Re-Volt Documentation

Here you can see a list with all the parameters available for revolt.exe.

Try using "revolt.exe" -res 1024 768 24

It may be a gfx driver problem

yes it's a graphics problem
perhaps you are using 32-bits color depth, I won't be surprised, Re-Volt is created for 24-bits.... like any other dx 6.1 application

I was wondering if your gfx card only supports 16 or 32 bits, so no 24 bit support available.
You seem to have a widescreen screen, and your gfx driver only handles specific depth and res.
