Sports Car GT: http://www.racer.nl/tutorial/scgttracks.htm
Grand Prix Legends: http://www.racer.nl/tutorial/imp_gpl.htm

These tutorials tell you how to convert to Racer, which is a Zmodeler supported game (.dof format) so, maybe they can be converted to Re-Volt.

lol, i'm a discoverer for this community, not?

I already knew this. Just didn't share it. I'm the one who figures stuff out, and you're the one who figures stuff out soon after and will actually tell people.

I've tried converting from SCGT, it's very possible, but it'd require much more remapping than even a Vice City conversion, as SCGT cars use about 20 materials (maybe more, just a guess).

I don't feel like doing anything right now (read my signature), and doing an SCGT conversion would be a huge undertaking. Someone should try it but it won't be me.

(I was talking about cars, actually, didn't notice that it was in levels section, sorry, maintained anyway, and also, track converting 'tis a b*tch.)

my POV (point of view): not many people are interrested into car making / repainting / converting nowadays; actually are most interrested into track making

maybe Track converting? (First track converter was Adamodell)

Both are equally slow, but since I don't feel like making any more cars, I suppose popularity will be leaning more toward tracks.

No, I'm not gonna convert any more tracks, as about 90% are either too high poly, too large, both, neither, etc. Too much nitpicking to care, really.

Oh, and also almost all of them use way too many materials. Of course you can edit them to hell, but then you have Hockenheimring for Re-Volt, which was actually one of the first track conversions, and don't forget RiffRaff's POD conversions.

And they were much better than my conversion, because hil completely made it a new track so I wouldn't call it a conversion.

So, I cannot lay claim to "first track converter".
