hi manmountain :),
is it possible to use the search engine on the site?
for instance i have been searching for a topic today, because i wanted to post a comment without needlessly opening a new topic, but just could not find it.
but theres no need for listing the advantages here, there must be a reason why it is disabled, so my question is that is there any chance we could use it?
thanks

well, does not work for me, nor does the one on re-volt forum, so i thought its a setting.
if i try searching, a message loads on the next page saying:

Sorry, the administrator has taken the search engine offline for the moment. Please try again later

the thing i was actually looking for was a comment in which arto was offering or just explaining, cant remember, how to create CSS for his site, and i thought i ask him about it, because i would try it in my 3 minutes daily spare time.

Try this thread : An Aspect Of Rvzt That Hasn't Been Touched Upon, CSS Styles

Also, do you have certain cookies blocked on your system ?

thanks for link.
if there is any cookie blocked, its certainly not from revolt-related sites.
how to check it?

have checked them.
all cookies accepted, no sites in the exceptions window.
however i could not find a cookie that seems to be from this forum.
should the site's name be z3.invisionfree.com/andsoon?

The search engine uses Google as it's filter, do you have any restrictions set up against Google ?

I would suggest clear/delete all cookies (although this might not even work), but make sure you understand what this entails, a lot of re-inputing of names/data and passwords, so use as a last resort if it really is that important.

no restrictions against google.
well, if deleting cookies would help, why not delete the cookie which is from this site? i havent seen any though, that was from here, but they must be stored in a specific folder.
